Bob Grady

Bob Grady was a member of the first Tottenville High School Football team in 1969. By Bob's Senior year, he was Co-Captain, being duly appointed to the  position due to his leadership, teamwork, dedication and love of the game. In 1970, Bob's Sophomore year, he led all Staten Island receivers with 17 catches, during the heavily run-oriented era in high school football. With his outstanding Sophomore season, Bob became the first Tottenville Pirate to be named Staten Island Advance Football All Star. In 1971, Bob's Junior year, he amassed 30 receptions and once again led all Staten Island receivers in receptions. Bob was for the second time, named Staten Island Advance All Star and the first Pirate to be name Daily News Football All Star. In Bob's Senior year in 1972, he concluded the season 1 reception shy of leading all Staten Island receivers for the third consecutive season while grabbing 36 passes. For his Senior year accomplishments, Bob again was recognized as Daily News All Star and for the third time, Staten Island Advance All Star. In 1972, Bob became only the second player ever to be recognized as a 3-time SI Advance All Star!

Bob went on to play his college football as a Seahawk at Wagner College on Staten Island. Bob's collegiate records are equally amazing and certainly speak for themselves. Bob holds the following Wagner College football distinctions:

- ranks 4th all-time in single season receptions with 61

- ranks 6th all-time in single season yards gaining 852

- ranks 10th all-time in career receptions with 106.
